Robinson and Marcy Valenzuela are my second family that I warrior for at present time. They are adopting precious little "Scarlett" from Eastern Europe. Shortly after the couple was married, they became pregnant with a little boy. His name was Armando. He was born with Down Syndrome and many complex heart issues. He only lived 3 short hours. The couple was dramatically changed forever. After several miscarriages, the couple became pregnant again, this time with a little girl. The girl, Ari, looked just like her brother Armando and was born with that extra 21st chromosome, just like him as well. A couple years down the line, they found Scarlett, who they are naming Sofia. They didn't know how it would be possible to adopt without the funds, but the couple trusted that God would provide if God led them there, so they jumped in with both feet. They have had another bouncing baby boy while going through the process of adoption. They are just about 2.5 months away from traveling to pick up sweet Sofia, and I couldn't be more excited! Sofia and Ari are similar in ages and I cannot wait to see this duo together!! They are having a drawing and a fundraiser for shoes for the kiddos in Sofia's orphanage coming very soon, and I'll share that, probably in the fundraiser spotlight next week.
